CORNELL’S MOST HATEFUL

Anas Saleh is responsible for threatening passengers on the New York subway if they supported Israel.

Saleh “demanded that ‘Zionists’ raise their hands on a packed Manhattan subway car,” according to the New York Post.

“Raise your hands if you’re a Zionist, repeat after me, this is your chance to get out,” Saleh chanted. Assistant District Attorney Madeline Holbrook said that at least one passenger exited the train “in fear for their personal safety.”

Saleh reportedly worked at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Rhee Lab, and the school’s dean addressed the incident in an email but did not mention Saleh by name. It is unclear whether Saleh is still employed by Cornell Medicine.
